Canada Day Events throughout Northumberland County
Parades, live music, food, children’s events, bouncy castles, vendor markets, midway rides and of course
Fireworks – there are a multitude of events happening all across Northumberland County.
Some events will take place over the entire weekend June 29th, 30th & July 1st,
so check the Community Events Calendar to see if you would like to make a whole weekend
plan for Canada Day. Visit the Waterfront Festival in Cobourg on Saturday or Sunday
and then enjoy Canada Day at another location on the Monday.

10am – 10pm – Waterfront Festival – Vendors, Foods, Artist Display, Midway Rides, Beer Gardens, Beach
11am – Canada Day Parade
12:30 pm Opening Ceremonies – Children Activities & Entertainment
1pm – 9:30 pm – Live Music
10pm – Fireworks over the Harbour
Location: Downtown Cobourg at the Waterfront
Port Hope
8am – 11am – Pancakes at the Park
11am – Canada Day Parade – along Ridout, Walton, Pine & Augusta Streets
11:45am – Official Opening Ceremony of Canada Day – singing & cupcakes
11am – 10pm – Live Music, Classic Car Show, BBQ, Beer Gardens
1pm – 4pm – Children’s activities: Bouncy Castle, Mini Putt, Ball Hockey, Wagon Rides, Freezies
10:00 pm – Fireworks at the Waterfront Pier

Campbellford
8am – 10am – Rotary Pancake Breakfast
9am – Entertainment with Cindy &Scott
10am – Noon – Park Activities including crafts, games, face painting, Zach the Juggler & Balloon Artist, Blades of Glory demonstrations
10am – Teddy Bear Parade with Sparky the Fire Dog
10:30 am- Knight Challenge
11:30 am – Knight Duel
12pm – Official Opening Ceremony – Singing & Cupcakes

Hastings
8am – noon – Breakfast
11am – 1pm – Fire Station Open House with BBQ, hotdogs & drinks
1pm – Cornhole Tournament
4pm – Community Parade – Decorated bikes and wagons, old cards & floats (everyone welcome)
5pm – Live Music with the Reckless Minstrel Buskers
5pm – Party in the Park – Axe Throwing, Bouncy Castle, Food Vendors, Beverage Pavilion, Local Craft Beer
7pm – 9pm – Live Music by the Gunslingers
Dusk – Award Winning Fireworks Display

Brighton
8am – 10am – Kinsmen Pancake Breakfast at Owen Gibb Community Centre
9am – 3pm – King Edward Park – Children’s Activities, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting, Kids Fishing Pond with Prizes, Brighton Fire Department Interactive Display, Brighton Arts Council Display, OPP Driving Simulation, Vendors at The Shed
