Harvest Festivals, Fall Fairs & Shows
It’s almost time to be baking pies! It’s HARVEST time
and soon it will be Thanksgiving.
Apples, pumpkins, squash, potatoes and more.
Farmers Markets have an abundance of produce this time of year!
Northumberland County is known for the Applefest Festival
and is one of the largest areas of apple growers in Ontario.
The Brighton Applefest Festival kicks off on Thursday Sept 26th and runs until
Sunday Sept 29th.
There will be a ton of fun things to do including a Pancake Breakfast,
Children’s Village, Music, Street Fair, Car Show & Beer Tent and much more.
And of course – lots of goodies to eat.

Sat Sept 28th – Model Train Show at Kawartha Downs 10am – 4pm

Sat Sept 28th – Pride in the Park – Millenium Park – 2:30pm – 6pm

Sat Sept 28th – Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour – 10am – 5pm
Sat Sept 28th & Sun Sept 29th – Sip N Shop Artisan Market at Rolling Grape Vineyard
– Bailieboro – lots of vendors & lovely food.
Sunday Oct 6th – Applefest at Lang Pioneer Village 10am – 4pm

Sunday Oct 6th – Cottage Country Fall Craft Show – Morrow Building

Saturday Oct 12th – Harvest Craft Show – Buckhorn Community Centre

Saturday Oct 12th to 14th – Norwood Fall Fair – 9-5pm
