Douro-Dummer is a Township along the Trent Severn Waterway, in central-eastern Ontario, in Peterborough County. Douro-Dummer consists of Centre Dummer, Clarina, Cottesloe, Crowes Landing, Donwood, Douro, Five Corners, Galesburg (south of Clear Lake), Gilchrist Bay (within Stoney Lake), Geurin (along Indian River), Hall’s Glen, Juniper Island (Stoney Lake), McCracken’s Landing, South Beach, South Dummer, Warsaw and Young’s Point.
It is a stunningly beautiful area and home to many high end waterfront cottages (and full time homes) with Stoney Lake, Clear Lake, White Lake, Dummer Lake & the Indian River, connected to the Trent Severn Waterway.
Stoney Lake is quite a coveted spot due to its crystal clear deep waters and rocky shorelines. Douro-Summer is also know for the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area & Campgrounds.
