Beaches the whole Family will love!
It's Beach Season
When the weather heats up and the kids are out of school – there is only so much you can do to keep them occupied and unless you have a pool – the Beach is big winner for kids of every age. Of course for the parents, a beach with nearby bathroom facilities makes it much more attractive and if there is a playground even better.
Enjoy!

Please note* – I cannot verify if these beaches have supervision or life guards (I assume most won’t other than Cobourg Beach) or when they might be supervised. So keep that in mind if you are taking children with you. My list is not complete, but these are the ones I have personally visited or taken my own children to. These beaches are all over the area. Some are very worth the drive!
*please be aware – some Lakes in Ontario have been experiencing blue-green algae or other hazards monitored by the Public Health Unit. Check online before heading out as the Public Health Unit tests and monitors all public beaches and will publish beaches that are closed.
