Bobcaygeon is a small town located in Kawartha Lakes, northeast of Lindsay. It is about 30 minutes driving time to Lindsay or Peterborough.
Bobcaygeon brings to mind laid back summers and chill relaxation – as heard in the Tragically Hips Song about the town. It is popular with retirees living in Port 32, however, there are also a large number of year round waterfront cottages/homes and younger families moving to the area.
Bobcaygeon in is beautiful and a part of the Trent Severn Waterway and home to Lock 32, right between Pigeon & Sturgeon Lakes. It is Houseboat central in Bobcaygeon. Many people pass through the area, on boats or to watch the boats, do some shopping in the charming small town or attend an event.
